admission process

To become a part of the Gurukul family, parents are required to register the child after meeting our Admission Counsellor. Once the registration formalities are completed, the admission process includes an interaction/assessment to understand the child’s readiness to join the school, along with their developmental milestones, ensuring appropriate grade placement and a smooth transition into school life.

The admission for all classes would be done in a transparent process based on the categorization made by school in accordance to its objectives. The acceptance of the admission shall be notified online and telephonically only to the parent/guardian. Fees must be paid within the stipulated time period as per the offer of admission. Non-attendance/non-payment of the fee on the required day shall mean the cancellation of admission.

As per National Education Policy, the age eligibility for the foundation years is as follows:

Bal Vatika 1	3 years and above
Bal Vatika 2	4 years and above
Bal Vatika 3	5 years and above
Grade I	6 years and above

List of the Mandatory Documents Required at the Time of Admission

Copy of Aadhaar Card of both the parents and the student.
Original Medical Fitness Certificate of the student.

List of the Mandatory Documents Required at the Time of Registration

Up to Grade I, self-attested copy of the child’s Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation.
Grade I onwards, copy of the report card of the previous grade.
Two passport-size photographs of the student and one passport-size photograph of each parent.
Copy of Identification Proof of both parents (Mother & Father).
Copy of Address Proof.

Mandatory Documents Required at the Beginning of the Session

Previous grade report card and duly signed Transfer Certificate before joining the classes.
Transfer Certificate must be signed by the Area Education Officer if the previous school's board is other than CBSE.
